The Great Basin Restoration Initiative has created a slide show of maps showing the majority of wildfires that have occurred in the Great Basin and surrounding area from 1990 to 2007.

'Quiet Invasion' DVD

The Oregon State University College of Forestry and Harney County Watershed Council recently released a DVD entitled The Quiet Invasion...Managing Western Juniper in Eastern Oregon. On the DVD, scientists, public land managers, ranchers and others discuss the effects of western juniper encroachment on the Oregon landscape and the need for active restoration.
